LEO RECOMMENDS
If you are responsible for building maintenance—especially HVAC systems—you need to study this book. And if you teach any type of class in maintenance, be sure to examine this as a text. I’ve been in the HVAC industry for many, many years and I learned new things by reading this book. The authors clearly know their business.
This is a clearly written book with many good two-color drawings and system diagrams. There are also many excellent photos. The pages are scattered with block inserts of valuable Safety Tips and Tech Tips. I especially liked the chapter on troubleshooting because of its treatment of basic procedures and problems with multiple causes. The attached CD contains chapter quizzes, an illustrated glossary, maintenance forms, and reference materials.
Workbook and Workbook Answer Key are available
This edition builds on industry-proven content and offers expanded coverage in the areas of energy efficiency and auditing, waste reduction, safety standards, advanced multimeter functions and procedures, building automation systems, and indoor air quality.
